Her passion for acting in the Preparatory school, before moving to Ohio together with her family during the mid-70s. The theatre school she attended was Northwestern University and spent a time with the British American Drama Academy. Anna worked at the theatre of the Chicago city for a few years, before attempting her hand at TV and film roles. Anna's first major role was Arden on Down the Shore. She appeared on 29 episodes. The actress continued to make appearances as guest stars on a small number of television shows as well as films, including Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue through the mid 1990's, when she was tapped in a regular role as Jean Ward in The Practice.
