Anna Gunn was born in America. Anna Gunn is an American actor. As well as playing Martha Bullock and Jean Ward, she has appeared in The Practice. Anna Gunn was born in Sante Fe New Mexico, in 1968. Her passion for acting in the Preparatory school, before moving to Ohio together with her family during the mid-70s. The theatre school she attended was Northwestern University and spent a time with the British American Drama Academy. Anna worked at the theatre of the Chicago city for a few years, before attempting her hand at TV and film roles. Anna's first major role was Arden on Down the Shore. She appeared on 29 episodes. The actress continued to make appearances as guest stars on a small number of television shows as well as films, including Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue through the mid 1990's, when she was tapped in a regular role as Jean Ward in The Practice. She was cast as Martha Bullock in Deadwood for two seasons throughout the decade of 2000. In 2008, she was in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in the year 2008. Also, she starred in the Deadwood movie and Sully. Gunn has also been seen on stage in David Schwimmer's show Sex With Strangers. She also appeared in Numbered Day, a podcast comprising four audio plays. The relationship between Walter White and his wife Skyler is the most prominent element of the tale on Breaking Bad with the strained attraction between the couple as well as its eventual collapse similar to the arc that was Walter White's last years of his life.
